Exchange Hosted Services (EHS), is a suite of four distinct services that help organizations protect
themselves from e-mail-borne malware, satisfy retention
requirements for compliance, encrypt data to preserve
confidentiality and preserve access to e-mail during and after
emergency situations.
This service is available to EPI
hosted Microsoft
Exchange Server customers, EPI hosted Microsoft Small Business Server
customers and customers who host their own Microsoft Exchange Server

Services are deployed over the
Internet using a “Software as a Service” model which helps
minimize additional capital investment, free up IT resources to
focus on other value-producing initiatives, and mitigate
messaging risks before they reach the corporate firewall. With
just a simple mail exchange (MX) record configuration change,
Exchange Hosted Services can be up and running quickly. There is
no additional hardware to provision; no additional software to
buy, install, or configure; and no expensive training required
for your IT staff.

Exchange Hosted
Archive is a managed service that captures and
archives external and internal mail, IM, and
Bloomberg mail according to your retention period.
When the retention period is met, messages are
automatically destroyed. This per-user price for
Hosted Archive includes a three-year retention
period for up to 3.6 GB per user. Additional
retention years are also available for an additional
charge. Extra storage and historical data loads at
the time of purchase are available based on per-GB
pricing. |

Five user minimum subscription
required. Clients of this service without EPI Internet Direct hosted
Microsoft Exchange Server accounts will be invoiced quarterly. Setup fees apply.
Setup fees vary depending on the number of user accounts included
with your subscription and the combination of EHS services included

Hosted Continuity is included with
Hosted Archive; therefore, purchase one or the other and not both.

This service is available to EPI hosted Microsoft
Exchange Server customers, EPI hosted Microsoft Small Business Server
customers and customers who host their own Microsoft Exchange Server
solution, subject to the following notations:

Hosted Filtering is available to all EPI clients,
including clients who utilize EPI's shared service
Microsoft Exchange Server
solution. Hosted Filtering may also be used with non-Microsoft
e-mail platforms such as IBM Lotus Domino, Novell Groupwise, and
other SMTP-compliant servers.

Hosted Encryption, Hosted Continuity and Hosted
Archive require a dedicated Microsoft Exchange Server solution. This
can be either an EPI hosted dedicated
Microsoft Exchange
Server, an EPI hosted Microsoft
Small Business Server or a customer owned and operated Microsoft
Exchange Server or Small Business Server.
