Your IP Address is:
- 38.103.63.18
-
An IP address is a numeric value that is used to uniquely identify your computer from the
millions of other computers that are connected to the Internet.
This number consists of four 'octets' separated by periods. Each 'octet' is a numeric
value in the range of 0 to
255.
For your protection, some services hosted by EPI
Internet Direct are classified as secure 'Restricted Access'
services and require you to register the above IP address with
us before you can gain administrative access to the server or
servers that are being used to host your service. This applies
to many of our SQL Server, Microsoft Commerce Server, Small
Business Server, BizTalk Server and certain other specialized
services. It does not apply to web sites, FTP sites or other
services hosted through open protocols.
Most clients require only one or two IP address
registrations, but our policies permit you to register up to
five IP addresses without incurring a surcharge. There is no
cost to add or change IP addresses should this be necessary.
Note to DSL and Cable
Modem Users
Most people using DSL and cable modems are
assigned an Internet IP address by their Internet Service
Provider. In most cases this IP address will only change if your
ISP reconfigures their network or if you replace a router or, if
you are not using a router, your workstation or your
workstations network card.
Note to Dial-Up Users
Typically, IP addresses assigned to dial-up
users change each time you use your dial-up modem. If you are a
dial-up customer that requires access to a secure service then
you will need to request an 'open' gateway. Only a registered
customer or their authorized agent may request this change and
not all services classified by EPI as 'Restricted Access' are
available through an open gateway without surcharges.
Contact your EPI representative if you require
your service to be hosted through an open gateway. |
